Independent Board Director

I bring over 20 years of executive leadership experience (General Management, C-Level) to the boards of Swiss SMEs. My focus is on companies facing strategic inflection points: internationalisation, digitalisation, or generational transition.


I do not view a board mandate as a ceremonial role, but as an active governance function. I offer owners and shareholders an independent outside perspective, strategic sharpness, and the necessary governance competence to steer growth safely.

Today, a board must do more than just control. It must be a sparring partner for the executive management and the guardian of long-term strategy.

  • Internationalisation: I bring direct experience from Asia and Europe. I know the risks lurking in market entries and how to mitigate them.

  • Transformation & Digital: I support boards in understanding digital business models not as a threat, but as tools for efficiency and customer retention.

  • Governance & Compliance: Especially in family businesses, the separation of ownership, management, and oversight is often fluid. I ensure clear structures without stifling the entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Constructively Critical: I do not shy away from conflict on substance, while remaining respectful in tone.
